About me

Hi! I'm Jori. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I love words, language, and the connection that comes from all types of communication. I believe everyone has valuable insights, funny stories, and important experiences to share, and I really enjoy helping them achieve that. I have given presentations on treating pediatric traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in the school setting as well as using open-ended narrative to address multiple goals and build imagination. I have worked in schools, with graduate work in hospital/outpatient and schools. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and routines-based.
