As an hourly therapist, you are paid for both clinical work and non-clinical work. Your clinical rate will apply to direct care as well as a reasonable amount of allotted preparation and documentation time. We also have a supplemental rate that is relatively uncommon and applies to occasional non-clinical work (i.e. meetings, trainings, etc.) as well as any time beyond your preparation and documentation allotment.
Expressable’s attendance policy is designed to protect our clinicians’ schedules and support quality care. Hourly employees are asked to report all time worked, including time spent waiting for a client to arrive.
There are ample opportunities for all clinicians to increase compensation. These include, but are not limited to, working more high demand time, utilization and referral bonuses, and more.
Hourly clinicians receive paid sick leave, but are not compensated for PTO or company-observed holidays.
The majority of clients either self-schedule on our website or are referred to Expressable from a physician or partner. We match clients based on their state of residence, preferred availability, clinical areas, and insurance.
Caseload building is impacted by a variety of factors, the most important being credentialing status and availability — we see highest demand after 3:30pm and on weekends.
