About me

Hi! I'm Stephanie. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2017. I became an SLP because of a journey that began with teaching but ultimately led me to the field of speech pathology. While exploring career paths, I stumbled upon speech-language pathology and was drawn to its potential to make a difference in the lives of people with communication difficulties. What particularly resonated with me was the opportunity to work closely with individuals with greater needs in a smaller, more personalized setting. As I transitioned into the private practice setting, I recently took courses and trainings focused on DIRFloortime®, sensory integration and treatment of CAS using DTTC. I have worked in settings such as SNF, elementary and high school, and private practice. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

My son is always looking forward to have a therapy with Stephany! She encourage him to speak confidently. And she gave me some tips sheets for a new his class teacher to have kids who stutters. I really appreciate it.

Stephanie is an amazing person, she understands my daughter's needs, gives her the time she needs to think and answer, doesn't give her the answers to make it easy for her and doesn't lose patience. My daughter loves the sessions!! Every session I'm more impressed from her professional work!!

She was so nice and kind. My son is super shy, so I was worried the evaluation, but thanks to Stephanie, he could take the evaluation.
