About me

Hello! I'm Ranae. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2008. I love being an SLP because I have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses and abilities. I love being able to tailor varying therapy approaches to meet the individualized needs of each patient. I have worked in settings such as outpatient, early intervention, teletherapy (school-based), and school-based ESY (in-person). I received the ACE award for continuing education through ASHA for completing 70 hours of continuing education over my last certification period (2021-2023). I am trained in Talk Tools - Oral Placement Therapy Level 1 Course July 20 and, NeuroDevelopmental Treatment: Contemporary Practice Model (NDT-CPM) April 2021. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, routines-based, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowered to create self-advocates.
