About me

Hi! I'm Caitlin. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2017. When my father was in a car accident, he needed help rebuilding his speech and language skills. The SLP who worked with him not only supported his recovery, but also touched my entire family. Experiencing that journey inspired me to pursue a career where I could provide the same hope and support to others. Over time, my passion grew toward working with children, helping them build a strong foundation for communication so they can learn, connect, and thrive in every aspect of life. I have worked in settings such as Schools, Early Intervention, Private Practice, SNF. While in graduate school, I engaged in a research grant to investigate the effects of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) on language and literacy development. Through this program, I gained experience analyzing how AAC supports speech, language, and literacy growth across diverse populations. This experience deepened my commitment to supporting individuals’ communication needs. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, and individualized/personalized.
